Advanced Open-Water Certification Program
Courses are offered through PADI, SSI, SDI, TDI, NACD, and/or ANDI
To obtain an Advanced Open Water Diver Certification you must log a minimum of 24 dives. You must also complete a minimum of 4 specialties. Below is an example of an Advanced Open Water Certification Package offered at Dive Tech and Sports. It is designed to instruct you in what are the most commonly used specialties in diving.

- Limited Visibility/Night Diving
- Navigation
- Deep Diving
- Enriched Air NITROX
- Text Books for the following specialties:
- Additional Equipment Needs:
- Redundant Breathing System
- Buddy Alert
- Safety Strobe and Dive Marker
- Safety Line Reel
- Primary and Backup Lights
- Direction Monitor
- Dive Computer
- NITROX Course equipment needs:
- NITROX Dive Tables
- NITROX Computer (recommended not required)
- Certification:
- Work Shop
- One Class Session at dive site for each specialty (Except Nitrox course held at shop)
- Open Water
- Instructor Supervision Required on all dives
- Three Dives demonstrating Navigation techniques
- Three Dive demonstrating Limited Visibility / Night diving techniques
- Three Dives with a depth between 60 and 100 feet
- NITROX Course Dive Requirements
- Two Dives with Enriched Air
- Two Dives with Enriched Air
- Work Shop
